  USCG and IMO MSC /circ, 677. the unit are pasive devices with not moving part. the UFD detonation flame arrester provide protection
  against flame propagation in piping system that are manifolded or have long runs. the arrester are designed to stop anignited flammable
  vapor mixture travelling at subsonic or supersonic vapor velocities. they are also designed to protec against continous burning against
  the 316 LSS flame cell for a specifik period. the standard flame cell is suitable for NEC grouop D or IEC II A agases. cells for other gas
  group are avalaiable as aditional extras. the flame arrester are available with either carbon steel (expoxy coated) 304ss or 316lss flame cells
